In comparison with "normal" colour pencils, erasable colour pencils can be fully erased.

Production:

The colour leads are impregnated with an erasable material.

Advantages:

Erasable colour pencils combine the advantages of a black-lead pencil (erasability) with those of a colour pencil (e.g. coloured marking or sublining of a text)
