DRAWING BOARDS

Earlier:

Wooden drawing board; a t-square was used as an aid.

Adhesive strips were mainlyused to fix the drawing paper on the board.

Disadvantages:

• Unwieldiness and heavy weight during transport
• Method of fixing the drawing paper
• Transport of the awkwardly shaped and bulky T-square

Nowadays:

Board made of Plastic.

A releasable sheet tensioning rail and a sheet clamp fix the paper to the board.
